The Dried Guajillo Chile has a reddish brown color. Fresh it's called Chile Marisol. This Chile together with Chile Ancho are possibly the most used in the whole country. Its use is in all kinds of stews with pork, chicken, beef or any other meat, it is part of moles, marinades, hot sauces etc. It is almost always used mixed with other Chilies. It must always be soaked before being used.
Ingredients: Dried guajillo chili flakes. Keep in a cool dry place.
