Chile de Árbol is a small, but very potent Mexican chili pepper. Chile de Árbol is very hot, with scorching acidic heat, and is related to cayenne peppers. Small and plenty hot, chile de árbol is often used to flavor oils and vinegars. Throw a few chiles into any dish to add extra heat. Use for chili, salsa, hot sauce, tacos, soups, stews, stir fry, and Thai curry. Unlike many chiles, Chile de árbol remains bright red even after drying. The seeds and white arches of the Chile de árbol can be removed from the pepper to tone down its hotness.
Ingredients: Dried whole árbol chili. Keep in a cool dry place.
