Macha salsas are oil based, consistent with one, or more chilis, and vinegar. It’s basically a pickled salsa. The chipotle chili in ours gives it a subtle smoky flavor as a base and a slight spiciness hits your palate after the first few seconds. Thanks to the walnuts, the aftertaste is nutty and very savory. This salsa is best combined with cheese. Add it to a charcuterie board to surprise with its modest sweetness and enhance the flavor range. Spectacular as a topping on simple avocado toast.
Ingredients: Chipotle chili, Vegetable oil, Walnuts, Garlic, Sugar, Vinegar, Salt, Potassium sorbate.
