Fajitas are very popular in Mexican cuisine abroad. In Mexico, Fajitas consist of meat mixed with veggies. For our vegan friends, we reinvented the classic.
Instead of meat, we use portobello mushrooms, a divine substitute for red meats. The Portobellos are seasoned with a house special spice mix, including chipotle chilies and then grilled to enhance the flavor with a subtle spiciness.
The grilled bell peppers and onions intensify the smoky taste of the chipotle chili resulting in a marvelous combination that will not disappoint. This dish will surpass your expectations due to it’s surprising juiciness. It can be served in a taco with some guacamole, onions, cilantro and a salsa of your choice, or even as a side with beans and rice.
